Enrollment is open all year round. There is no enrollment deadline.
SelfDesign High Enrollment and Course Registration
If you have not done any courses with us before complete steps 1, 2 and 3 below.
If you have studied with SD High or SelfDesign K-9 before you only need to complete step 2.
Complete these three steps using the web browser FIREFOX. If you don't have Firefox, click here to download it or free.
Step1. School Enrollment
If this is your first time registering for courses with SelfDesign High, please follow the link below to enroll with the school.
This application should be completed one time only.
NOTES:
If you have already enrolled with SelfDesign K-9 or SelfDesign High you do not need to enroll in SelfDesign again.
Before you proceed you will need your BC Care Card Number.
After this process you will need to send us a copy of your birth certificate either by email to admissions@selfdesignhigh.org or by fax to SelfDesign High at 1-866-910-8869

Note: Copies of all required documents must be emailed to admissions@selfdesignhigh.org BEFORE your enrollment and course registration will be processed. Click HERE for a list of required documents to complete your enrollment.
Step 2. Course Registration
Choose the registration form that is right for you from the 5 choices below.
Only register for the courses you wish to begin at the time of registration. When you wish to begin new courses, a new registration must be completed.
A. Mentored Online and Workshop Courses
Register for one or more workshop or online courses with a mentor. Use the Course Registration Form.
B. International Learner Course Registration
If you are an international learner, in Canada on a study permit, please use the International Registration Form.
C. EOS Learning Centre Program - New!
A full time SDH program offered in 2 sessions: Sept to Jan and Feb to May This registration form is for SESSION ONE Sept 20 2011 to January 19, 2012. Use the EOS Learning Centre Registration Form to register for the EOS learning Centre Program.
D. EOS OnLine Program - New!
The EOS OnLine program will offer an opportunity for learners to create and develop independent projects, group projects and skill development under the care and guidance of SDH Mentors. In EOS learners will interact with and co-create 4 three week blocks that each have a distinct theme. They will meet twice a week with mentors to have discussion, presentations and work on projects. High speed internet is required, as well as an interest in using skype, google plus and other online platforms and tools. Learners can be working toward a Dogwood High School Diploma, can focus on building a strong transcript, or can simply participate from an interest base.

E. iDesign Courses - New!
IDesign is a course approach where the learner and the Mentor create the learning plan to meet the learning outcomes for the course and decide what artifacts* the learner will create to show their learning to the mentor.
SDH Learning Support of $125 is available to support the purchase of resources related to the learning plan for the course.
*artifacts are items that show the learning and knowledge gained by learner in the course i.e. video, essay, slideshow, math assignments etc.

Step 3. Learning Plan
If this is your first time completing a Learning Plan, click on the link below.
If you have completed a Learning Plan with SelfDesign High before, you don't have to do it again.
Learner Support
Support for learners includes educational counseling, mentorship and peer support. Each learner enrolled with SelfDesign High is assigned a mentor as their primary contact for each course. This mentor is dedicated to supporting the learner in their educational experience with SelfDesign High, and will initiate contact with the learner upon enrollment.
This comprehensive Learner Handbook offers an outline of the curriculum, learner responsibilities, and policies and procedures of SelfDesign High. It is available on our online platform Moodle.
